3.2.4 Flow Meter Installation

Determine which pipe (supply or return) has the longer unobstructed straight run. Install

the ow meter in the longest straight pipe run available. One temperature sensor can be

installed ve diameters downstream of the ow meter leaving enough clearance to remove

either sensor from the pipe without interference from the other sensor.

Also refer to the installation manual and/or other documentation that is provided with

your ONICON ow meter.

For F-1300 series inline turbine ow meters, refer to the documentation that is provided

with the ow meter.
